Typhoon Ramon Update: ISSUED AT 11:00 PM, 11 OCTOBER 2011

Location of

eye/center:

At 10:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Storm

“RAMON” was estimated based on satellite and

surface data at 130 km Northeast of Hinatuan,

Surigao Del Sur (9.2

°N, 127.3

°E).

Strength: Maximum Sustained Winds of 65 kph near the

center with Gustiness of up to 80 kph.

Movement: Forecast to move Northwest at 17 kph.

Forecast Positions: Tropical Storm “RAMON” is expected to be at 90

km North Northeast of Cebu City by tomorrow

evening and at 30 km Southwest of Calapan,

Mindoro by Thursday evening. By Friday evening,

it will be at 260 km West Northwest of Subic,

Zambales.
