PJ Gentallan of BISU made it to the top 10 of the ME Board Exam

Bohol Island State University (formerly CVSCAFT) once again produced a topnotcher in the recently held Mechanical Engineers' Examination on September 2011. Paul John Murillo Gentallan, who is known to most of his friends as PJ, got 91.10% which is only 1.6% lower to that of Joseph Cyril Ramirez Gredoña from Sorsogon State College-Sorsogon who landed on the top spot. After two (2) working days, the result was released. Out of all the 2,513 examinees, 1,686 of them have successfully passed the exam.

The rest of the schools who produced the top 10 examinees this year include Cebu Institute of Technology, Technological University of thePhilippines – Manila, Lyceum of the PhilippinesUniversity – Batangas, Inc, Adamson University, Polytechnic University of thePhilippines –Main – Sta. Mesa, University of Cebu, and Cagayan De Oro College.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2011-2014 for MECHANICAL ENGINEER; Initial Registration Fee of P450 and Annual Registration Fee of P420 for 2011-2014 for CERTIFIED PLANT MECHANIC. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
