At 2:00 a.m., 15 December 2011, the Tropical Depression was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 1,100 km East of Mindanao (7.0°N, 136.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 30 kph.

At 2:00 p.m. on December 14, 2011, a Tropical Depression was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 1,400 km East of Southern Mindanao (5.9°N, 139.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move West at 19 kph.
