TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNING: TYPHOON “PEDRING”
ISSUED AT 11:00 PM, 26 SEPTEMBER 2011

eye/center:
At 10:00 PM today, the center of Typhoon “PEDRING” was
located based on radar, satellite and surface data at 170 km
East Southeast of Casiguran, Aurora (15.9
°N, 123.9
°E).

Strength: Maximum winds of 140 kph near the center and gustiness of
up to 170 kph.

Movement: Forecast to move West Northwest at 17 kph.

Forecast Positions: Typhoon “PEDRING” is expected to make landfall over
Aurora – Isabela area tomorrow morning and will be in the
vicinity of Baguio City by tomorrow afternoon. By tomorrow
evening, it will be at 40 km South of Sinait, Ilocos Sur and on
Wednesday evening it will be at 350 km West Northwest of
Sinait Ilocos Sur.
